Are you in a sales slump?

The arrival of summer signals a sales slowdown for many industries.

Some call it the summer slump.

Here are five things you can do to prevent it:

  1. Reach out to the customers who ordered from you last summer and find out what’s on tap this year.
  2. Reach out to customers who ordered from you last year but haven’t done so this year. Let them know you’re thinking about them and ready to help with their next project.
  3. Schedule business reviews with your top customers. It’s a terrific opportunity to share what’s going well, what’s coming up and what can be better.
  4. Review your activity with your top prospects and map out your following sequence of contacts. Replicate the messaging that’s worked best for you in the past.
  5. Ask for referrals. Your best customers want to help you succeed. What better way to help than introducing you to other potential customers?

What would you add to beat the summer slump?
