Sales reps often tell me how busy they are.

When I dig deeper, I see they are busy with administrative tasks, reacting to internal requests, deleting old emails, organizing samples, you name it.

Unfortunately, only a few responses include proactive selling.

It’s important to differentiate between busyness and efficiency.

Salespeople often equate the two, and this misconception frequently hampers their ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

The minor dopamine hits from checking off your admin tasks won’t put food on the table.
